The Ask: Create a new PSA to remind people to be quiet and put away their cell phones.

The Idea: A surreal black and white animation transports viewers into another world. The visuals and languages spoken in the spot reflect the unique art-house experience at the Austin Film Society Cinema.

The Execution: This 40 second piece uses a mix of stop motion images and fluid animation. We photographed a diverse mix of body parts and rocks to use as our space objects. A team of designers clipped them out and composited looping animations that were used for the final composition. We also created an original score and sound design. The result transports viewers from a clean white frame with branding into an asteroid belt of cell phone interference and beyond!
