The Line Residency

The Line Hotel, Austin
In partnership, Big Medium and The LINE Austin are proud to announce the recipients of The LINE Residency 2020. Chosen by a curatorial panel from both Big Medium and The LINE Austin, five local artists have been selected to take part in the second edition of the program, which will run from March through December of this year. Selected artists live and work in the hotel for 2 months.
Artists chosen for this year’s residency are Brooke Burnside, Alie Jackson, Natalia Rocafuerte, Saul Jerome San Juan, and Suzanne Wyss.
My Closing Exhibition, Observations in a Time of Crisis was on view at The LINE hotel from August through September 2020.

A mix of still lifes and symbols told through painting, textiles, and augmented reality inspired by observations in Downtown Austin during the height of the Covid Pandemic in 2020 at The LINE Hotel.
